Helping students learn how to learn

Build the basics of good study practices directly into your courses. By modeling effective study skills and incorporating them into classroom practices, your students will learn what it takes to be successful in a course.

Active learning

Identify and integrate the critical components of active learning tactics in your courses, creating courses that balance faculty-to-student, student-to-student, and student-to- content interaction.

High-impact practices

Add effective and challenging experiences that require students to apply coursework to practical settings, document their intellectual growth, delve deeply into research, or connect ideas across cultural and disciplinary boundaries.

Collaborative learning

Teach students how to effectively collaborate, developing group work competencies and skills that will serve them well in future team-based work structures that demand sustained collaboration, accountability, and productivity.
